With the generous support of our patrons, UCF has been able to provide school book, school bags, and other school supplies to poor and needy children, who are unable to purchase these required items on their own, for the past 15 years. These children mainly come from the areas of Dambulla, Polonnaruwa, Neboda, Ibbagamuwa, and Moratuwa. 
Mrs. Jessica and her team from the US were with the UCFSL from 22nd to 30th of January 2017. Among various projects of UCFSL they were engaged in during their stay in Sri Lanka, the team also distributed various school supplies to needy children in Dambulla, Neboda, Ibbagamuwa, Polonnaruwa, Madowita in Welimada and Moratuwa fishing community.
During the visit of Pas. Martin and his mission team from Switzerland, they participated in the distribution of school supplies to the needy children in Polonnaruwa, Badureliya, Pusellawa and Boralanda.
During the visit of Rev. Haley and his medical mission team from the USA, the team performed an enormous amount of relief work in various parts of Sri Lanka apart from the medical projects. Over 300 children were provided with school supplies such as exercise books, drawing books, pencils, schools bags and T shirts. These programs were held mainly at Moratuwa, Neboda, Elehera, Medirigiriya, Dehiaththakandiya (Polonnaruwa district) and Welimada, Pussellawa, Madatugama and Dambulla.
